That Scorpio now has all 5 Ground Zero subs driven by 5 Alpine 501 monoblocks, after throwing out 2 Bostons, 1 Soundstream, 1 RF and 1 MTX sub, in an enclosure derived by gluing 5 tube enclosures together to resemble the Olympics logo.

But he still has 2-3 pairs of different 6x9s, 3-4 capacitors, and 3-4 pairs of TS-20s, so tough call actually.

Panky Bhaiyya, Navin uncle said "Never use two different woofers in same car. It is like having two different missus in same house." Ok, I made up that last part.

Kiran/Navin - Does the Yellow car have 4 JBL special edition woofers? Looks like them. And what is that yellow material underneath the woofer covering their mounting points? Vinyl?

Also did anyone notice the bulges with cloth/shagpile kind of material on the roof lining?

Looks to me like the 1202D sub.

The yellow cloth looks like silk to me. Didn't really see the material you are talking about.

AFAIK, this bugger never takes pictures of installs. Its time he appoints a professional photographer who documents his installs.

B&T I think you know what I meant. I suspect those 6 woofers were all radiating into one cabinet.

BTW I am not one to worry about using multiple different drivers for the bass. The Nestorovic aligmnent operated on this principle but I dont think this car had any such design.

OT: I do think that Mile was as good a designer as Bill (Osgood), Richard Vandersteen, Jim Theil, etc...just that he prefered word of mouth to 8x10 adverts.

as B&T said it ooks like india due to the hero honda bike and the dirt inside the channels of the boot.

i think its a skoda cause i can see the rubber+plastic thingy in the middle on the left side. its for adjustment of the boot. i remember adjusting this thing after getting the boot door replaced after an accident in my skoda octy.

iraghava, that cotton thing ithing is a fibre glass enclosure for 6x9s and i can also see round yellow enclosures near the rear head restrains. i think thos are for the 6.5" or 5.5" speakers.

the cloth doesnt look like silk at all. it a kind of material used for car covers IMO.

cheers

Yuck, ghastly! My tired eyes may be seeing something else as usual, but:

1. Yes, it definitely is a Skoda, the boot door / opening profile says it all
2. The beading has come off (top right) - says a lot about the car's maintenance. The car seems to have been repainted some time
3. The material seems to be more like the yellow marine sou'westers (raincoats) than anything else. Judging by the folding, it is too stiff to be fabric, too perfect / natural to be FG. Could be art leather. But, "... ke peechhey kya hai?"
4. The subs seem to be just sitting there - no sight of screws / bolts.
