Bass tube: Sub with ported cylindrical enclosure, offers boom. Sold as one complete, finished product.

Sub + Box: Individually sold, give options to have sub mounted either in sealed/ported/bandpass and what not enclosures to suit individual tastes.

Ok So if i want to listen to songs like 50 cents or akon which would actually suit me??
Well in the Autocar performance show there was this Crv in the jbl stall...Was really impressed by it. So was it the tube there or the box??

maddy, its personal choice altogether.... I love to hear 50 cents in bass tube set up. Why? Simple: Main qutub minar pe ghar banwaun, meri marzi..

But am sure there are couple of others here who would love to hear the same in "sub in sealed box" set up. Bass Tubes would be loud, boom and show - off, whereas the sub + box could be tight/boom depending upon the enclosures.

You need to state your preferences and then use your own ears to decide, as the sound is very subjective.

Sam that car rocked not coz i didnt like the music on the swift but i just love suv's and the music in it was rocking.
