I'm thinking along the same lines too. The surprise upgrade is probably the car itself. Which is why the IDMax subs are not being sold. And which is why the the surprise upgrade is not speakers, amps, subs, HU or wires (OK, the processor is left, but I don't think that is it either).

And he did mention before that he had a pair of Illusion Carbon 8" Comps lying with him, and more recently in Blueraven's fiberglass thread that his next car is going to have two midbasses in front.

2 x 8" in the front? Only LBM can think of something this big! The car will have to be a Accord, Emberra, Octavia, etc.. not Swift/Getz is going to support this.
