| congratulation LBM praji!!!!! And Did u pay for singapore iridium or Indian iridium?? Now i would seriously advice u to upgrade [for such a high class set-up] ur car to getz as it has better door panel to minimise the need of door damping. Acc.to Gunbir,Getz is probabaly the best hatchback to install very good system like the one u have now. |

| Senior - BHPian | thanks guys i earlier had accent viva. I dont like the huyndi quality. i had to change my car shocks three times front wheel axle and what not in just 1.5 years time. over this my car has a milage of 6-7 kms in city with no brakes the viva has the worst brake i have seen in any car the abs comes very fast ....I was very disappointed by that car. As i love music so much I decided to go for a small car as the system can perform best in hatch so i went in for a swift as it a maruti product easy to maintian and run with good milage. I can buy a skoda also but I dont like big cars . We have a corolla and a honda in my house But i barely drive them....I think u got my point........

| Distinguished - BHPian ![]() | First, LBM, congrats! Now, From my personal experience with Wurth, I would recommend AZ comp damping. I have used the damping sheet pack, i thought it was reasonably priced and far easier to handle than the Wurth sheets. Also LBM, i would also recommend you look at liquid damping for the panels upfront.

.. I can forgive an iron core inductor (given the space constraints of a car) but polyester caps are not big there should be no need for ANY electrolytics on a speaker of this class/budget and the resistors aren't that hot either.

| Senior - BHPian | I agree with navin and gunbir both of u the crossover are bulit in a different leauge but the installs where i have see the iridium used are 100% active not in a single one I have never seen a install in which these crossover are used.....any ways till now i am in a dilemma wether to go for active or stay for passive till the subs arrive.......
