Talking BEST SONG for showing off Car Stereo

Folks!!...

what are your favourite songs for showing off your car stereo.. Please also elaborate why you like that particular song... as in what part of your ICE it highlights.

Maybe we can all put together a test CD!

One of my all time favourites is "Kiss" by Prince.. and Enigma! Kiss is bass/drum-attack heavy..but Prince croaking/screeching in his characterestic voice gives the mids a good workout too! ... Enigma for its sheer overall brilliance! ... good system will actually put out the enormous headroom in the recording!

Dance Music - SANDSTORM and some fantastic remixes of this number.. (old one... I am an old guy!)

Country - Kenny Rogers - baritone... should make ones hairs stand on end!

Sujit, you're a show-off ?

I guess that explains all the pricey ICE.

Ha Ha... Wrong choice of words (- mine that is)!...But most of us are proud of our ICE... I would be too when I'm done ... and dare say might just become one "SHOW OFF" too!! .. however let me clarify..

What is YOUR favourite song that YOU'd use to determine how good a system or the sound is?... Alternatively which are the songs you will use to DEMO the positives of your set-up?

EDIT: Steer.. waiting for you to christen my install thread.. a name pls!!

check the Top 100 German Hits. My CD for now.

And, mallu songs are good for mid/vocal testing. Vadakkunathan, bassy voice of Mr.Lal is a good demo.

nice one Gunbir.lol

Nice one Steer!. Cacophonix. But KB would be Obelix who fell into a beer barrel.

I remember someone suggeting a cd by Boston Acoustics.

Errr.... Cacophonix turns Harmonix? I'm unsure after this 'show-off' thread and all this talk about big bass.

Rev
I always enjoy those songs which have good mid range though i do like tight punchy bass.
I beleive for any SQ based systems,mid-range is more improtant than low freq [bass]and high freq [treble] sounds.
