Hi Vishnu,

Very good config. Hope you are really enjoying the sound!
I'd like to know:

01. I assume that most parts came without warranty. So, How do you precisely verify their originality?

02. Was the wiring kit required only for the Amp or did you re-wire the entire system (I assume that Swift comes wired)?

03. What’s the brand name of the wires used?

04. Did you try the speakers without the Amp (directly to HU)? If yes, can you mention the difference in the quality of sound produced?

05. Where did you install your 6x9 (on a new plank or the parcel tray)?

06. Where exactly in B'lore did you get the installation done?

I have the tweeters mounted on the DASH and not on the door trim. It looks very nice on the door trim.

I'd like to know:

01. I assume that most parts came without warranty. So, How do you precisely verify their originality?

Most parts did not come with warranty, the first thing I did was I spent two days exploring the parts from various car extra fitting sources and even Majestic & SP Raod. I finally picked this up from a known car accessory vendor in BTM Layout and verified the parts myself comparing with all what I have seen in the last two days. Also the vendor is quite trustable...

02. Was the wiring kit required only for the Amp or did you re-wire the entire system (I assume that Swift comes wired)?

I fitted a parcel shelf for oval speakers, so wiring was done for Amp power, HU to Amp and Amp to oval speakers, resused amp to front speaker alone.

03. What’s the brand name of the wires used?

I used Boss kit.

04. Did you try the speakers without the Amp (directly to HU)? If yes, can you mention the difference in the quality of sound produced?

One of my close friend has a very similar setup (one difference being he uses JBL components for front) on his swift, it sounded good but then there is a great improvement over that with the amp. The front speakers are rated 90w and the rear can take rms 100w, whereas the HU can supply only 22 w continuous RMS which will not utilize the full potential of the system. Also using amp gives you precise control over the frequencies that go to front and rear speakers using the crossovers.

05. Where did you install your 6x9 (on a new plank or the parcel tray)?

New plank.

06. Where exactly in B'lore did you get the installation done?
BTM II Stage, Bangalore. I will get his contact no and PM if required.
