I guess Panky figured since you've moved to Mumbai, your given nickname is up for grabs. So he bestowed it upon Raghvinder (LBM). ![]()

BTW have you heard a company named Ascon? it manufactures terminals etc. im using their terminals for my power cables. the terminal is made of copper with some silver color coating. i could see the copper after scraping off the silver thing. just wanted to ask if they are all right for the job? also rightnow my speaker wires dont have terminals. im planning to install terminals on them. any suggestions, do's and dont's etc? yes sam bhai, im really happy with the performance of the cables and i think ive made the best choice i could in my budget. like i said in another thread the major problem i was facing was of dimming of lights with bass notes. now after changing the cable(from boss to 16 mm^2 l&t and from 16 to 25mm^2) there has been a tremendous improvement. the problem is negligible now. now im thinkng of upgrading the big 3. what wire size would be optimal? and if could put my 16mm^2 wire in use that would be great(like running it twice). also please suggest what i should do regarding the rca cables. buying a good quality cable like audison etc would be too easy a job. i would like to diy the cable with good wires and connectors. any suggestions? i think this is not the appropriate thread for my above queries, so point me in the right direction mods. thanks cheers clip Last edited by clipto333 : 15th June 2007 at 17:08. | ||

| Construct the enclosure with a few non-parallel sides, and use bracing. 0.75" is the least thickness you can use. If possible, use 1" MDF for the front baffle.

| Senior - BHPian | When I made my first enclosure for the max it was sealed with a internal of 1.1-1.2 cu ft. Dont remember exactly but it was sound good but the low end was quite less since the volume was quite less. Go for at least 1.3-1.4 cuft to make the max sing. Also I have also asked gunbir about the size of the enclosure used in your pajero. I am also going to make a new box for max to see how it play in the best recommend size. Will post the details after reviewing it.
