Detailed Description: MobileSQ.com

And they really aren't kidding about the Sonotex diaphragm. Their in-house fabric dome is really something else.

Very nice looking install Gunbir. Great execution and a brilliant finish to the final product.

I was thinking where I had seen three Lotus Seas subs in the boot before and realized the Gunbir baba himself has been a user of these subs.

Here are pictures: Gunbir's Low Bass Makker (Delhi Meet in Jan 2007).

Yup. I had them and they are indeed awesome subs. A bit pricey though, but buttery smooth... were a bit too loud for my taste and too heavy for my car. My poor Getz became even more sluggish with 3 of these and three LRx amps. I now have 3x iDQ10s which are much lighter, and a single VRx6 6ch amp. The SEAS setup was heard in my car by the owner of this CR-V and he loved it.

So much that he bought it. Some years back I worked at Prada's store in NYC (yes the one on Broadway and Prince) and customers would come in see an ensmble on a mannequin and say "I want the ensemble" - that would mean boots, pant, top, scarf, hat, and even the sunglasses. Hence I can see your customer's point of view.

Another awesome install, Gunbir! That paint job is a killer!

I would like to know why the screw mounting looks like this:

I know the entire install was done very very professionally and I am just curious whether this is common with custom spacer rings at times. The screws look inclined and it looks like the components do not have enough space for the screws.

PS: I posted this post before looking at all the pages, just saw someone getting flamed! Please don't flame me for talking about screws, I am just curious! Sorry!

I agree to you Raghu.

Here is a pic of Midbass installed in my car. I use allen bolt of 2.5 inch length with nut not just self tapping screws which get loose after some time.

the black circle shows the screw which is used to just hold the wooden spacer ring on the door frame. After that the allen bolts are used which is passed through the midbass then the wooden ring and finally the door metal frame. when these 4 bolts are tighten they firmly hold the midbass in place and any vibration can allow the speaker to vibrate..

Also these allen bolts have a small head which gets allocated in the midbass nicely..

Ok try play the sub woofer with lose screws and see it for your self as it is the easiest way what loose screws can do...

Also I am giving a alternative and not picking out mistakes..

One more thing just heard the same vehicle yesterday.
