| BHPian | Hey Kiran, ALL details in the setup post...(SCOSCHE EFX). Hey Blueraven, My HU can easily do the needful... it has its own programmable filters etc...since it came with the remote...i just put it up for convenience..

For Ex: For some Trance numbers the Mids from the speakers are important, hence the bass control can be kept on the lower side, for hip hop it's maybe half way thru or more as you need more thud and boom, some hard rock and metal numbers dont generate that much lows, hence the bass contol lets you increase and adjust to feel the bass drums playing by directly controlling the amp, basically giving a boost upto 18 db. Whereas on the head it just plays with the preamp output which after a level introduces jarr as it goes through the head's crossover and not directly to the amp. If you have not, then give it a try using the bass control handy, you will feel the difference in time. ![]() | |

| Sorry for going OT: is there is a bass control for JBL 301.1? I'd love to have it in front cauz lot many times I just want to hear a song with little to no bass.
