Default Accord Sidewinder - ICE Setup

Hi Guys,

As requested am putting up the details of the ICE setup in the car. Pics will only be put up either tomorrow or Monday.

1> Head Unit - Alpine - CDA 9885

2> Alpine - KCE - 422i Ipod Interface High Speed Cable

3> Steering Wheel Control Adapter Interface

4> Front Component Speakers - 6.5" Morel Tempo Series 2 Way Components in OE locations

5> Rear Speakers - Morel Pulse 6 x 9 fitted in OE location on parcel tray

6> Sub Woofer - Ground Zero GZRW12XD-AL 500 Watts RMS cast basket, dual 4 ohms installed in a sealed box in the trunk.

7> Amplifier - Ground Zero GZRA 5100X 5-channel amplifier (4 x 65 + 1 x 300) Watts RMS fitted on rear seat back.

8> RCA Cables - Ichibahn ISTS20, twisted and shielded interconnect cables

9> Speaker Cables - Illusion Audio Reference Series 16 ga OFC, tinned cable.

10> Sound Deadning - Noise-Kill Deadening Mats in addition to WUERTH spray on damping all over.

Just got home with the car. Now need to tune the system up as it was too late to do so and did not have any good CD's at the installers place.

What do you guys think of the setup. The requirements were a decent SQ system for hearing music at moderate volumes. 70% of the times will be used for hearing Indian classical music

Wow. Would love to hear the Ice (not to mention the modified 2.4 vtec) with these things. It should sound like a regular Disco.

Hmm... I can just picture the dude driving the tyres off that car on the streets of Cal with Jagjit Singh playing in the background.

Setup looks good on paper. Now we need some pictoral confirmation!

I've heard from people who are into classical music that it requires a real good system for enjoying classical music...complete with all the "nuances" and what not. And i'm sure this set-up would be excellent at performing the job it would be assigned.
By the way, Indian Classical is not Jagjit Singh
