Navinji, didn't you (or is it some other mod?) say your installer was female??? Kuch match kara do.

Navin Ji butter chicken is taken here and waiting on my back seat. Gunbir will have to workout with a steak now. Thanks Vikram for the support out.

Yeh kya ho raha hai?

Why a steak? Does he lack comely damsels to give him company during his workouts? With his sense of humor there shouldn't be a lack of those! Or is it the steak that is trying to shed pounds and is looking up to Gunbir for inspiration?

And pray, why would you be betrothed to the "butter chicken" (who seems to be waiting on your back seat)?

True, you know me well. I'm not into Butter Chicken that much. I'm also not into sports that much. So match ka sawaal hi nahi uthta

my reference to "Butter Chicken" is generic. It could be Steak it could be Paneer shashlik but I guess "Butter Chicken" stems from the same thought process that Pankaj Mishra used to title his book.

@Flying Bong:When should you use a sealed enclosure and when should you use an IB setup.
If you dont mind, can i please know what music(genre/bands) do you listen to.This would help me identify the kind of setup i should think of...

hellspawn, you are asking a very technical question to a 'anari' like me...someone like Gunbir/JB should really answer this...

Let me instead describe the differences heard by MY EARS between IB and sealed box subs:

Sealed box (IDQ10/12 heard in 2 different hatchbacks) -
1.More kick & tightness in upper bass
2. Less easy to integrate with front stage, I find the extra kick in the bass a little unnatural at times but others may prefer it this way

IB (IDQ 15 heard in my car)
1. Loses some upper bass kick
2. Blends in very nicely & effortlessly with front stage (at least in my car), also sounds more warm & natural to me

If you dont mind, can i please know what music(genre/bands) do you listen to.This would help me identify the kind of setup i should think of...
1. Lots of 70s & 80s rock - am a big fan of good electric guitar, please see 'Best Song for showing off...' thread for details
2. Some metal - Metallica/Iron Maiden/Judas Priest mainly but dont really listen to it in the car and rarely otherwise
3. Jazz - mainly saxophone instrumentals by various people, some trumpet (Miles) piano (Michel Petrucciani/Keith Jarrett) and guitar (George Benson), I usually avoid big band/swing/vocals, I like 'smooth/cool/ east coast' jazz while driving (NOTE: this sub genre is NOT to be associated with Kenny G which is best suited to 5-star hotel restooms)
4. Assorted blues, pop, fusion (e.g. SRV, Robben Ford, Sade, Sting, Shakti blah blah blah...), like tabla instrumentals too
