Default ALTO ICEd with Pioneer DEH-7950UB and JBL Speakers

After a long long wait followed by a lot of good advice from the Gurus and other members here (ALTO ICE with no boom), I finally got what I wanted for my car:

Pioneer DEH-P7950UB & JBL GTO937 from GLIX in Calcutta.

Unfortunately, they could not get me the JBL GTO427 as they claim it's not currently available. That's what Sahil International told them. (Sam bhai are you listening) .They wanted me to settle down with the JBL CS2104 but I decided to wait a few more days to see if the GTO 427 will be available or not.

This has somewhat brought down my excitment as the setup is not yet complete without the front two speakers. Anyways I think the Pio 7950 + GTO 937 sound exactly the way I wanted it to be.

Thanks a lot to all the guys who helped me choose the right setup..

At last! Guess last night's meet gave you the impetus to go ahead with all that was available?

Can you post some pics of your ICE? How much is the total setup cost you?

I'am very happy with the buy as I think the setup sounds just right for me...however I'am eagerly waiting for the front speakers...(any suggestions since the GTO 427 isnt available)

sorry did not see that above post ! got it. 3.5 for the pair? sound like a good deal! is there a difference if you put it on the plank, instead of on the back on the shoulders, where you can usually find the speakers?

^^ I dont think the Alto will allow you to attach speakers anywhere in the rear other than on the plank...

Congrats on your purchase! Last night I had a chance to listen the same set up, the sound was not bad.

One thing here dude, I think you paid on the higher side considering it without B & W. 7950 ideally retails in Delhi grey for Rs. 8400-8600; 937 between 2800-3100.

^^Thanks a lot. I know that the prices are very high when compared to other cities but these seems to be the market price around here...

Hey can you suggest me some good speakers for the front dash since the dealer says JBL GTO 427 isnt available at the moment...or should I wait for some more time and eventually get the JBL GTO 427
