This van had 5 x DD9518 subs powered by 40 x crossfire d2000W amps and i cant really remember the number of batteries connected to it.

The body was so heavily layered with I dont know what kind of damping material and it actually took a lot of effort to open or shut the doors. But, yea once the doors were shut and the system volume cranked up a bit, one could hardly hear anything outside.
We got our DD subs and amp from the same guy. Mr Michael Jones.

thanks for the compliments! No we dont have a fitment center. We just a team that works together. All the cars besides mine and Ajays are SPL Cars.
Car audio is pretty huge here! our key point events start on a saturday morning and only finishes on a sunday, so that should give you an idea of how many cars compete

All subwoofer boxes are built with Shutter Ply wood, and then spray painted.
Trust me, there is a huge differance from using 2x 5inch ports and 1x 10inch port! 1x10inch is very much larger.

The 179 was done my Len with only 2x DD 9918Z woofers and DD Z2 amplifiers.

My Corsa:
I have a set of Morel 3 way Elates built into my kick panels and a pillar
I have dual 6 inch Morel Elate 2ways on the doors!
all of this powered off Zapco amplifiers!
The bass system is made up of DD.
Oh, and I use an ALpine head unit and Zapco processor

Because the sub section is designed for SPL use.

10" Port with 10" length is larger than 2 X 4-5" Port with 5-6" length.

Also bigger port = less resistance = more excursion = more SPL. It also reduces port noise.

Sorry for the confusion. The Ajay I refer to is our beloved T-Bhpian Bass&Trouble!

What I meant to say is oru Ajay is tanking up on Tsing Tao(a fantastic beer available in China) since he is roaming those parts in the GroundZero spaceship.

Tsing Tao is ridiculously cheap too! A must have for those who visit Chairman Mao.

I think this picture will help understand what I am say.

I am saying this because I am using two ports myself for the SPL purpose. And I am achieving good figures also.
