Talking Alto ICEd with Pioneer, Kicker, JBL

After 2 months of research and waiting, I just got my car ICE done yesterday from SoundFX in Andheri East. Real nice experience.

My car - The Alto Lxi 2007 model in blue.
Head Unit - Pioneer 5050 (Rs. 6600 grey)
Rear Speakers - Kicker KS 69 (Rs. 6800 with B&W)
Front Speakers - JBL GT5 402 (Rs 1400 with B&W)
Speaker Boxes (Rs. 450)
Internal Antenna (Rs. 250)
Harness for HU (Rs. 150)
Installation (Rs. 200)
Total Rs. 15850.

the system is totally worth it. the Kickers are just too good. They didnt have the GTO 427 so i went for the GT5. I keep the balance at 7/15 towards the rear. Head unit desired was the Pioneer 6050 but wasn't available. So the 5050 was the way to go.

Actual Pics will follow soon.

Pioneer 5050

Kicker Ks 69

JBL GT5 402

The 5050 is real easy to use and most of its fuctions are on the remote. I like the Red backlit as it matches a little with the Orange backlit on the Alto.

well those were the official rates in India. Everything like this is a lot cheaper in the US.

I agree, but since its a discontinued model I thought there's probably a special offer on them.

If you got the HU with the box, then there would be a CD in it with a pdf version of the manual. If not, try to find someone who did get the CD.

I bought the DEH-P5050UB today and am really thrilled with it. The sound is awesome! And the best part is that my IPod Nano works beautifully on it with my original IPod cable.

Unfortunately I didn't get the manual either, and the system really needs a manual since it is not that intuitive. Finally found a soft copy on the Pioneer New Zealand site.

Hope this helps!

Cheers
