Good to see such a neat install(Audio equipment speak for itself),pics' speak volume.I am fan on your photography skills(Provided your the man behind cam),simply loved the comaprison pics of stock mid-bass and ID mids.Your work put smile on alot of faces for sure.Now i won't ask whether it's on or off axis,hahaaaaaa

All our installs have photos taken by both JB and me. The camera lies around and we just pick and shoot whatever keeps getting done. I don't really think we possess any exceptional photography skills. Now only if one Mr. R. Sen would accept an apprentice....

The HU is for around 19k (grey) I think. Exceptional value. It does complete 5.1 surround decoding, has a screen, built in bluetooth (that works really well) and USB. DivX MP3 WMA JPG playback from any USB or optical disc source. Not to forget time alignment, and good sound to boot.

Respected Sirs,

It is not about the cutting, but about the mounting.

The Damping + Mounting [of the mid-woofer] + Connection + Cable routing etc. etc.
Are important.

The end result is dependent on many things.

Cut or no Cut - Damping at the back and the sides of the driver & ring [wooden] used sometimes is rather important. IMHO.

Those X-Overs look so 'sweet' Nice. Small & have few components; Correct way of doing things.

Can I give a small suggestion ? Please.....

The Cables - Below the seat - etc.
Can you try and 'organize' them.
I am sure you have taken enough precaution while installing with regards to RCA + Power + Speaker Cables, but try and get them seperated [in the picture] and 'tucked away' !!!

I personally too like to mount the X-Oover next tot he Amp. This is not always the right thing to do, but I like it like this. We need to run double the speaker cable length, but phasing can be easily adjusted this way !!!!
