You can find the pictures of most of the amplifiers internals here :

I know the link bro. Even I have submitted a few. I meant that people who have owned the stuff and have clicked the internals can post it here.

Alpine MRD-M1005

Check out my name at the bottom.

I agree. But I don't see point in wasting the server space when the info is freely available on the internet.

Also this information does not mean much to most of the forum members as they are not into study of amplifier design and PCB layout.

The amp internals will remain same, irrespective of who takes the picture .

True, but most other threads on T-BHP, based on commonly available information, would also become redundant by that logic. May be LBM, like a true DIY person, is trying to trigger other DIY enthusiasts with a bit of dare!

Bhai LBM Freedabadwale, you should have put the pics in the DIY section, ki nahin? You should not put 'undressing' photos in the 'fashion' section (wardrobe malfunctions apart)!

Alright If you say so.

To be honest the pictures which are posted are of no use. You cannot even see clearly inside the amplifier as in what caps, output stages etc are used. They are just a visual treat to newbies who are interested in viewing the internals of car audio internals.

Also how exactly are these pics are useful to DIYers? I don't think that anyone on this forum is going DIY on the amplifier he/she has bought and try to upgrade the components.

I agree that very few are brave/nutty enough to modify (leave alone DIY) a car amp. But if one can mod a CD player why not a car amp?

Really the area where I find most amps skimp is in the Power supply. While traditional power supplies are easy to upgrade SMPS based Power supplies used in most car amps are not.

well, since one of the old methods to check the power handling capabilities of an amp was to lift it and see how heavy it was, i guess this could be considered an extension of that

Thank you Sir very few understand that

I thought it to be a show off not a DIY. Yaar opening up an equipment is not to be considered as DIY. But modding it is.

That I agree. The power supply section is the most important part of a car amp. If it is weak the whole amp will sound bad. Moddin the DC-DC power supply needs good expertise in electronics

Not like that, sir. It serves as a good illustration when talking about problems and solutions. Having a few on TBHP will help avoid a wild-goose chase when searching for illustrations. The reference you gave is a good one, but it may not occur to many to go search there (in fact now that you have given it, they would). Ditto for DIY related topics, even though only a few might dabble with it.
