BTW, what ICE have you installed in the other 73 cars that you bought over the last 2 and a half months?
MAN!
i have been to Boom twice after my install in the evenings hoping to catch you! - didnt want to disturb you at office- i go to carter rd often so not out of the way
Maybe when i do catch you we can discuss my BASS and its BOOST

the swift(white ldi belongs to brother) has the typical Lamigton instal.
its got the most awesome "4WAY" pioneer speakers! in the rear and two pioneer "LOUDSPEAKERS" in front with a 5850 HU
i didnt think it was pic worthy so didnt post (actaully i shud-a pioneer install will be unique here huh?)

The Dzire is yet to be purchased/but we might consider indigo(though this is not in the near future)

well tbhp's inflated my budget too much (cars and ICE included!)
Alto soocha tha -i10 aa gai
indica soocha tha - swift aa gai
(not to mention indigo soocha hai-dzire??)
so im gonna be happy with the 70 odd dinky cars i have from when i was little!

Unless Ajaybhai's gonna offer to sponser my ICE (anything i want in his portfolio!)- THen i think i would actaully buy another car just for that!

Thumbs down How did I help ??

Quote:
I thank Mr Ajay Kamath,NAvinji,Der Alte,Raghuvinderji , Bhagwan and Zohir for their support and patience.( who still provide me their help for all the tweaking and tuning that seems to be an everlasting affair)
Congrats Sir !

However, I am a bit confused; How did I help ?
I did not even know you were installing in an I-10 ?
If I knew - I would never recommend a rear speaker - specially on the parcel tray !

Besides, I want to know, if I may;
Why the speakers on the rear parcel tray ?

Just put a 6" Component in the front & a 'removable' JBL or any other sub - woffer in the boot ? It will sound much much better than a co-axil blasting into the rear passengers ears !!!

Ha Ha Ha Ha !!

Congrats Magma for the install...

IMO the damping is not done properly as scene in the pic

Please remove the plastic sheet as it create noise
Put bigger piece of damping on the Big spaces which are left behind

Trust me there would be a noticeable difference in the sound

I concur;

The Damping job is not complete - nor is it well done.
Please do have it looked into.

Needs to be done again and completely.

Arrow This is how I would have done it !!!

Some snaps of how I may have damped the doors.

Damping is relatively expensive - please do use it well [carefully].
It makes a lot of differance.

hmm i shud have a word with my installer and get some more added!

hmm
I knew Bhagwanji would have convinced me to put a sub(which lets say was not as important as my boot space) so i didnt risk actually asking his advice. hehe. nor did i risk auditioning his car.

nway as B&T pointed out, bhagwanji's thread helped (requirement on damping and the place a sub would need)and as far as i remember i did PM you a few times for advice

ramie man
i have meaning to meet up with you , but all my saturday nights are becoming "farwaa" nights for my wife and baby!
Could we meet another day!

Ahh navinji
keeping in mind the trend that ICE here on tbhp can cost close to the price of the car .....
