Thumbs up Swift - Diesel - ICE - Steg + MB Quart [Q Line] + Illusion [Carbon].

Hello All !

I just got a new Swift vdi - White
MH 04 DR 1133

Trying to get some small things done in / for it.

I will document the work in progress & all that is being installed.

There is ICE & Alloy Rims + Remus Exhaust + Chip [tuning] etc.

The non ICE mods are posted here:

Swift Diesel Mods (Swift - Diesel - Mods)

So here it goes :-

The ICE work is just starting as we speak.
It will be done by Boom - Bandra.

1st step is the stripping of the car - damping - noise kill.
I shall take as many pictures as I can & try to post them here.

This is some of the gear that is to go into the car.

All on static display at present.

Respected Sir,

I would love to do that.

However, this is an ICE section of the Team - BHP Forum. If I start doing rims & exhaust things here - the mods will ban me.

I shall take complete pictures of the car with the rims and post once the install in fully completed. Sorry, please do bear with me till then. Appreciate it.

All that ICE equipment is mind blowing(more like mind boggling). Carbons in the front or back and who is to drive them? Audiobahns or Stegs?
Just spoke to Zohir , with your permission i would like to come down during your instal tommorrow (which Zohir says might go on till! )
How come in this pic the gap between your tyres and wheel arch is more than an lder pic of the rims you posted?
Have you changed something in the suspension or im mistaken?

B- Why would we be pissed, as long as you follow rules no issues.

Coming back to topic, yes you can share information about equipments as long as you are not selling them or have commercial interest.

Btw I think we need to have a different thread for your non ICE Mods.

Hi !

Yes;
Zohir of Boom is getting the audio install done.
I have 2 fellows working on it.
Shafiq & Mohan.

I have my doubts about the install finishing so fast. May take 3 to 5 days at least.
What I have planned may take a while to accomplish. Want to do the Isobarik Enclsure - Sealed again. However, I will want to execute it differently. Zohir wants me to use Acrylic in the install & I am not in favour of it. So we are still debating.

The Pics of the rim is on the Jack - hence the gap looks funny.

Once it gets down, it gets to be OK.

Shall post a few follow up pics to clarify.

Sir,

I am not commercially involved in any audio;

However, all the goods that are being installed are from Boom.
Hence, it should not seem like I am promoting the goods that Boom sells.
I like Steg Amplifiers & I like the Illusion Carbon components too. The Rear fill is going to be MB Quart - Q Line Components & the last 2 to 3 octaves will be handeled by the Illusion Audio Carbon Sub [enclusure is still not decided upon].
Cables will be Monster for interconnects [02 sets] & Stinger [01 set]. Ground Zero for Power Cords. Kicker Distribution Box [power]. Illusion Audio Speaker Cable. Optima Battery etc. etc.

I shall keep posting snaps as the work progresses.

Wow!! Bhagwan, you've got some very good equipment there in your custody.
We will wait as your installation pictures keep on pouring in here. Please keep them coming.

There is nothing more satisfying here in ICE section than watching a good install unveiling itself with some good pics and words.

Finally someone who knows enough to damp the spare wheel well. That place resonates like crazy in most cars.

Dude why not use a similar sub to the one in the i10. It is small (the swift does not have much space).

Also I think it is time you investigated FRP. It is stiffer and lighter (less stored energy) there is thread over on diyaudio on enclousre stiffness, damping, weight, etc..
