| Senior - BHPian | Good option. Its just required sometimes and as far as i believe you will need it only when someone is sitting in the back. Not everyone will be able to differentiate between them. |

| Senior - BHPian | I too would recommend that Jaspreet. I would advice you to go in for something with 3 preouts , TA etc. TA is definitely a great feature to have. Will completely change the feel of your Musique. |

flashback to 1989 (I know this is getting tedious to most of you). I had a Contessa 1.8. The car's ICE at that time 1. Alpine 7385 (HU with no power amp) 2. Sony D160 on dash CD player mounted on the dash on a spring suspension. 3. Homebrew 4 x 35W rms amp 4. Home brew 200W 8ohms amp made using IPL power amp chips similar to this photo below modified to dump about 1000W to 2.8ohms (pushed bias point lower and added extra pair of output transistors and upgraded power supply) 200W POWER AMPLIFIER MODULE 5. Front and rear speakers 6" 3 way using Polk MM 6500 woofer, 2" LPG dome mid and 1" LPG dome tweeter (removed both faceplates and mounted both on a single custom faceplate made from 3mm aluminum) with my own crossover 6. subwoofer 3 x 10" 8ohm woofers in a Transmission line. The woofers were custom made by a compay called Dhawni Audio in Valsad Gujrat using parts they had revieced as samples from Eminence USA. I was returning home after dropping a friend's father to the airport (the bags were put in the rear seat). The road I was on was in the process of being concreted and the workers had left huge 12" x 12" x 6 foot long concrete blocks on the road as a divider between the north and south going lanes. I was going south, a taxi going north hit one of these blocks that spun and moved right into the path of my car. I hit the block pretty hard. So hard that my car was now suspended on the block and the steering colum had colpased (saving me) and the 4 wheels of my car were now not on the ground. The impact was severe but the CD player did not skip a beat. Even as I was suspended on top of this block of concrete the CD player was still belting ourt Bonjovi's "Dead or Alive". I reached a phone at an open Indian Oil office and called a friend and eventually got the car towed to the garage. The suspension, exhaust and atleast one axle had to be replaced but the ICE lived! | |
