SX4 gets EXAD'ED

Hello Folks,

Finally I managed to get my SX4 iced. The car is currently running on the stock speakers + tweeter's front & rear both. Only the HU has been upgraded to a JVC AVX-826. Apart from the HU a reversing camera has also been added.

Thanks!! I got it for Rs 28,000/- with a bill & 2 years warranty.

Thanks!! The steering wheel controls don't work as of now, I'll have to get the PAC interface module to make the steering wheel controls work.

Maglev's search finally ended at Ahuja Car Decor, Lajpat Nagar. I put up in a locality which is home to many Car Accessories Stores and Maglev's Pan-Delhi search finally zeroed on 2 stores in Lajpat Nagar. Another store was offering a more lucrative deal but since I was sceptical of their worksmanship, we went to Ahuja Car Decor whose owner Gaurav Bhaiya was known to me.

Maglev's search for the right product meant phone calls to many dealers, calls to my friends and advice of Jitesh Bhaiya from BK Tyres, whom himself uses a previous generation EXAD.

The sound quality has improved drastically, this JVC HU is able to extract much more juice out of the stock Kenwood speakers.

Yes that warranty label is actually a sticker. But the warranty card also states the fact that I have a two year warranty with this JVC product.

I did not go in for the best price mentioned above, because of the reasons mentioned by TSK13.

Nope I didn't check any of the other EXAD models, as none of them come with in built bluetooth.

What plans for getting the steering controls working again? What is this dealer quoting for the PAC unit in Delhi?
