yup i saw those class T amps. how are they? compared to say the Alpine 340, Blau 450/470, JBL 50.4 and like.

Never heard class T/D except in those HTiBs and those are built a low price point.

Good amps for the price they are available in the gray market...i will rate Alpine 340 higher than that.

Quiz: They had to retain all the functionality of the MB phone, even after the DVD system was put in. How did they do it?
Separate wiring for the DVD and the MB phone! Please throw some light!

JB. would you use 5 of them vs a Alpine 5 channel? I know the Alpine is a neater install but ignoring that problem and only discussing SQ. my issue is that the amp i am looking for needs to have specs like this.

4 channels 60W rms + 2 channels 30W rms. this will allow me to run front and 2 small 8" subs from the 60W channels and the rear from the 30W channels.

Besides if i replace the 2 small subs with 1 big sub i can bridge the 60W channels to get 120-150W.

with 5 of these amps I can do this. Use 2 for the front. 2 for the subs. and 1 for the rear. besides since i already have a 45W/4 4 channel amp I can get 3 of these for the front and rear only.

I would definitely go for 5 Channel over the multiple amplifier. I still remeber doin' the E220 install, it was a big wiring mess. Definitely Alpine 450 is the way to go. Clean Install, Lesser Wiring, Amp with better sound and build quality and good looking too.

I like the Class AB sound over the Class T (personal preference)

So I guess what i should do is get a nice 4 channel amp for front and subs and a smaller amp for the rear.
