One Suggestion, Why dont you do it on a Safari Dicor.
It can hold all the audio equipment you can think of.
Add neons, bling alloys, monstor tyres and with a terrific sound system.
I am sure it will command presence on the road than a souped up swift...
All SUV's are a variant of hatches...

My opinion.

None of these mentioned vehicles has the character of being the loudest machine.

Well...yea include SUV's. They can carry a lot more equipment and appear more PIMP. The Tucson would be a good choice too, with its mean looks. Dicor would be boring cuz of its so-so looks

Sam,
The Swift is what you are looking for.
It is the only carin the above list which has the looks to match the noise.
BTW,
What is happening to the Palio?

I thought the choices were restricted to those on poll, hence the previous post.

Gentlemen, THE BEST, MOST PIMPING candidate for a no-holds-barred, no-expenses-curbed show car can ONLY be the Ford Endeavour.

Think of it - ALL THAT CHROME + add pimping 18" SHINY alloys, recolor that boring dash or best of all DRAPE IT IN SINFUL LEATHER. CHROME, LEATHER, BIG WHEELS, SUV - you cant beat it!

Go for it, Sam. No other choice comes close! The only other thing I can think of is that Hindustan 10 SUT that we saw elsewhere on the forum - classic, colourful and definitely attention grabbing.

PS: I am also willing to lend you my Smart for the eyeballer part if you'll take care of the customs and landing charges You can have a good showcar and I will get my car brought over for free....serious.

Hey, just a crazy thought.

17" bling wheels, crazy paint job, screens all over the interior. Space for all the equipment you can think of. Great looks with great performance.

C'mon Sam, you KNOW you want the Skoda RS.

You want to make a statement - Get a multi-coloured Swift. And with the rear seats out, it sure will have room for your jet engines...oops....sub woofers.

Default Added Opel Sail

I know the Sail is outdated etc but this car is being built to show case SPL (and maybe even SQ).

The Sail is probably the best built hatch. It wont rattle at 100db (with damping and other treatment it might not rattle at all) so it is a good platform.

One can get a used Sail cheap. So that leaves more budget for the audio. Also the stock electricals are very good but then much of this would be replaced.

Yeah the engine is rather sad (even the 1.6) but as Sam says who cares about "engine-vengine".

If you take out the rear seats you'll have enough room for 2 15" subs.

The Sail has tweeter pods in what I think might be the best location for imaging (hint: SQ)

There is enough room between the seats and the door to run 4SWG cable for the amps and good speaker cable and still let the Sail look stock.

You can use 16" rims on Indian roads. Maybe even 17" or 18" but I'd let the wheel forum work that out.

I believe Rockford Fosgate is using a Corsa. It's in quite sad condition though.
Why not an Astra? With 17" ultra low profile wheels and interior/exterior blue lights, a huge spoiler, loud free flow, lots of dials which don't mean anything, the WORKS.
Or a PIMPED UP used E220, the 96/97 models, with BLING chrome alloys and a free flow. That would grab attention.
Or something totally different, a used celica/supra/san storm(extreme). It wouldn't have space for the jet engines though.
The idea of an SUV sounds nice too.

Think Sam wants a hatch so that the rear can be opened for "show and tell". Guys remember it is audio system that must grab attention not the car. The Sail is plain looking. Non Descript is the word.

If the car is pure SPL car then I think the Scorpio (with sufficient dampning) might be the best option.
