Feasibility report says YES! Can be done, tedious but not impossible. Rear Gullwings and normal front doors. The only drawback being the space for opening of the rear door towards the outside. I do have a solution in mind, are we removing the rear seats altogether? If we are then we can cut the rear door in half... seal the lower half and just the upper half with the window opens vertically reducing the space needed to open drastically.

So, it's the Swift. Nice.
I doubt it can handle anything over 205/40/R17 as otherwise it would be too low profile and uncomfortable to go all over India.
Get it Painted Electric Blue, blue Interior neons with white dials (a few other extra dials for show are a must), fake/real recaro seats, a bodykit (autopsychye?), blue neons, a sticker job, proper tints (you will need a license for it however), a T-BHP sticker and you are done.
If possible, liven up the dash too.
For the engine, PM viper and ask if he has any interesting engines for the Swift (i am speaking of the twin cam ones here.), a nice LOUD freeflow and header job and a knN ported polished head.
And you are done.
I really don't like Orange as a colour too much as it will attract the wrong attention. Blue with JBL on the sides will look better IMHO.
Cheers.

Damn Lambo, you want Sam to start selling blaupunkt now? Orange is the JBL colour. Remember what the whole purpose of the car actually is at the end of the day.

Also major engine mods make no sense at all. You just need it to be loud (intake/exhaust), louder (paint job/decals), loudest (speakers/woofers)!

Lol dude,
no i was just saying that orange would look odd as a colour. I mean like i can hardly picture it. Why not Ferrari Red?
Sam, you can forget the engine swap, just the freeflow is good enough come to think of it.

Engine swap?? Mad or what?

OK, this car will tour India, but inside a truck. For smaller runs (say Bangalore-chennai, Bombay pune etc) I will keep the original wheels and tyres handy. (though i just realised, then how am i going to carry the 18" wheels? lol)
After conferring with Gurus GTO and Autopsyche, the wheels will be 17". Though GTO suggested 18" it is Arush's opinion that 18" will render the swift completely undrivable. So 17" it is.
Considering a mix of airbrush and vinyl stickering.
Gull wings are out. (After a discussion with Arush this morning) there are plenty disadvantages. More importantly, water may leak in, or drip when the door is open AND it's expensive.
We're now considering ulta pulta doors. Arush told me the technical term for this which i promptly forget. (Suicide doors or something like that ahaha)

Suicide doors. I guess you mean like the fiat 1100 or better known as the ones on the Phantom.
they will look real nice.
For tyres, get 195/45R17 or 205/40R17. They will look HOTT.
So what colour are you guys painting it?
Cheers.

Do check out the original concept car swift's pics.
It was in Red.
IMHO, the only swift that ever looked mean and butch.
The Indian swift is not upto the mark in mean prescence.

Do notice the LED taillights and the headlights of the concept car...

Ok, engine swap is out of question.
But, do make sure that there's something under the bonnet too to attract the attention.
Neons, cold air intake or turbo or carbon fibre finish(fake or real) on a few parts or...or.. use ur imagination.

It's always nice when people see something what they have always wanted to see.
Case in point:- modded cars from NFS underground editions.
If you can make this swift look like one of those, then trust me, NOTHING like it...

i think Endeavour wud be the way to go, wud never rattle at all! and will take all the thumpings! also has loads of space for all the big amps and subbies and tubes! when u dont wanna use it for actual driving around day to day, but more for DEMO car, this wud suit u best!

Since you are talking about hatchback's it is definitely going to be SWIFT.
But the other car on the list that makes you think twice is the octavia...
OK forget the engine & stuff but do make the car rock by putting in some awesome visual upgrades as in the game NFSUG2.A lot of well placed neons should do the job...
