I've shared better pics of the car here.

Saw this Accent rotting in a building parking lot. Wonder what makes owners dump their car like this rather than selling it or scrapping it, in extreme situations.

It might be due to the VIP number. I think the number is 7000. The owner hence might have bought it for dirt cheap price and just kept it parked in order to get the number transferred to a new car. Its quite a common practice.

Is it rotting there due to some tax or legal issues? An entire fleet lying abandoned and not sold off makes me think there could be some tax/litigation involved.

I think you are right. This entire fleet of cars belongs to one very famous hotelier who might have purchased them under EPCG scheme.

His current fleet is now Toyota Corolla Altis and a few Innovas.

Are you aware of the owner? Where in Poona exactly?

Compare this, to MAF742, a mint SS80, in my part of Poona. Mint! Just mint!

Original paint, water coming out of the exhaust et al. Used regularly.

Cheers!

Apart from this there are 2 Maruti 800 lying in rust with no one to take care. One is White and the other one is Cream in color.

Thanks

Saw this Maruti Swift Dzire at Rajendra Place New Delhi today evening in the most undesirable condition. Really feel bad when such a car ends up dying a slow-death.

Folks! This Blue Benz has been parked for more than 3 years outside Meriton Restaurant at Gajraula (U.P). Saw this car again today and could not stop from clicking it. In real, it is in very bad shape.

Thanks.
Isn't that a W124 E-Class? I thought this was quite a desirable car and to see an E220 lying there gathering dust is a bit saddening. Hope someone is able to rescue it OR It might have been registered illegally and the owner parked it there trying to lose the heat OR Someone stole it and left it there
