I think it happened this noon. Looks like it hit some vehicle and lost the control. Even after this incident, I saw two Volvos driving like maniacs in the Madikeri ghat.

A few minutes back, this MSRTC bus rammed the divider at full clip, on Karve road, in front of my house. Most probably caused by a tire burst. This happened around 9.30AM while we were getting ready for office, there was a loud bang. Let's hope no one was hurt. The police were out there in full force, along with a huge crowd, so it was not possible to determine if anyone was hurt or not.

Was the bus going at good speed for the tire burst? Looking at the lane I dont think so the speed might be the case. Is this a one way street?

This isn't a one way street. But in the morning, many people speed up and try to pass the signal at full speed when it is changing from amber to red.

And, unfortunately someone seems to have been killed or badly injured , for on the other side, underneath the left rear tyre, there was a badly crushed motorcycle. Maybe the body was still trapped underneath, because there were some 10-15 traffic inspectors and constables standing near the tyre and peering under the bus.

Today in Hijawadi Phase 2, a cab turned trutle. There was only one employ and the driver in the car.

Both of them are fine, except that the cab took some good beating.

The employ happens to be my team member and has been sent back to home for resting.

As ususal, cab driver was not wearing a seat belt and got injured.

Pictures shot by my friend. It happened on the Karur-Dindigul highway on Nov10 in broad day-light. No one is sure on what happened. The driver died on the spot and his wife and kids are suffering injuries.

It was a one-month old Ertiga. May his soul rest in peace. :(

Gosh, thats one of the drastic accident pictures i have seen recently. Any info about how this occurred or so ? Over-speeding ? It seems a bit of miracle that 2 survived this.
May his soul rest in peace :(

this is gruesome. Has to be one of the worst accidents that I have seen on this thread. even a seat-belt couldn't have saved the departed soul.

Wonder what impact might have caused such extensive damage to the vehicle..

These are the spine shivering pictures. It seems to be result of over-speeding. One must realize the limitations of our highways and the cars or end up like this.

Really sad. May his soul rest in peace.

This had indeed happened at high speeds where he lost control and hit the concrete ledge of the bridge and the vehicle had toppled over. No other vehicle was involved in this.

If you can see the second last picture, you would spot a concrete pillar on the ground (extreme right of the picture). I was told that the car hit that pillar and fell over taking the pillar down.

But really a very tragic incident.

Horrible snap.

Sad see a “LUV” torn into pieces. I don’t think any other vehicle can survive this crash as the impact was too much .He might have driven at a high speed and lost control due to some unknown reasons. MAY HIS SOUL R.I.P.

Similar thing happened near to my residence few months back where a Maruti Omni lost control ,toppled and rammed into a bus shelter killing two people. It happened when the Omni driver’s kid accidently turned the steering wheel while driving which made the van to topple and hit pedestrians near the bus shelter.

Man that is one of the worst accidents I have seen in recent times. It is a reminder for everyone to stay within Limits. Though it is very difficult to judge what exactly happened in the split second. Must have tried to avoid something or as said must have lost control and hit the concrete. May his Soul RIP. Hope his Wife and Child recovers.
