Angry Re: Drunk Traffic Cop Misbehaves with a Female Motorist (Nabbed by the Public)

The good part of the story - the woman retaliated and the public supported her.

The bad part of the story - In a few days the cop will be out on bail and be free to do such things again.

If one day, the entire public of this country comes together and lynches all the officials; I won't be one bit surprised.

True. They just got bored of governing the unruly lot, and in any case there was nothing else left to loot. Bad return on investment.
now the current lot is finding newer way to loot and hoard, wonder where they will take it all.

It is better to read that some action has been taken than none at all. I think people these days are losing faith in the system and opting for vigilante punishment and thrashing as against a prison sentence.
Months ago, a ST bus driver rampaged through the streets of Pune killing 10 people and injuring many others. He is sitting in prison today, has any judgement come out of it?
I am sure if the cops hadnt intervened, that guy would have been beaten to near death the same morning.

we need to find a tshirt colour, something like the red tshirt brigade elsewhere in the world. At current rate of crime, it could happen soon. unfortunately the goons are all within the general populace too, so the problem would be identifying them!

Did someone mention Law Enforcement Agencies?? What Law and what Enforcement?? These so called Policemen (Traffic or Crime) IMO are the biggest hooligans around. No sense of responsibility whatsoever. That's the precise reason why the general public is terrified to approach a policeman whenever in need because of the known fact that one will be harrassed to the core instead of being helped. People refrain themselves from helping accident victims for this very reason...

And now drunk policemen harassing women!!

This is 'India Shining' ...God save us and our country!

Indian Express reported that he is already out on bail as the offences that he has been booked under are all bailable and he was given 'station bail' meaning he did not even go to a Judge. Will try to get that link as well.

Here it is, with an even better picture
