Default Cabbie goes the extra mile in memory of lost son

"Free candy is not the only perk of riding with Khalid, a 37-year-old electrical engineer from Pakistan who has been driving a yellow cab since 1996. He also recently bought a $400 subwoofer that, in his words, makes "your heart go boom," and invites customers to plug their devices into the speakers. To complete the nightclub-in-a-cab experience, the car is also outfitted with an advanced lighting system that, when activated, flashes fluorescent reds, blues and purples"

Really worth reading ! I have always been fascinated with drivers who look after their ride just like their own family. I once had met a cab driver who said his car is like his own child and it concerns him if he doesn't clean it daily. And you got to see his 1999 model Tata Sumo, still in top condition !

A very good gesture that is unheard of ! And we have a huge crowd of these cabbies out to fleece gullible passengers all over.

I had also featured a Taxi driver and owner who was in awe of his Landmaster since about 4 decades.

But surely, the gesture of the New York cabbie is different and praiseworthy.
