Employees work in a market and, often, the market is not weighted in their favour. Thus employers set the rules, right, wrong, reasonable, unreasonable or even legal/illegal.

This is a meaningless thread on many counts. In Tamil Nadu & Kerala, even RTO workers wear dhoti / mundu, let alone those taking tests. We are taking a one off incident into deep debates.

I think it is an excellent thread. It show how diverse various people are thinking about this topic. What is a non issue to some, appears to be pretty fundamental to others and vice versa.

There is no right or wrong other then perhaps a bit of an eye opener how many different opinions there are on this topic. I see a lot of value in that, apparently you don't. Again, neither of us is right or wrong, but the very fact that there are different opinions should give you some pause for thought I would hope.
