As Steer correctly mentioned, apart from Bombay, I guess Calicut is the only place (that I am aware of), where autodrivers do their business honestly and as per the metre. North Keralites (in general) are supposed to be more straightforward / honest, than their south/central brethren. No offense intended to South/Central Keralites, of whom I am also one.

If the accident was anywhere else, the car would have been stripped clean in a matter of hours. In Chennai, some people gather at the accident site, only with that intention. Once me and a friend had a fall from his bike at around 11PM. A couple of guys came as if to help us, but we noticed that one of them was actually trying to hide my wallet (which fell off) under his feet.

zak, a Baleno ? I thought the Verna was going to be the new steed.
