and why doesn't the government choose one colour and keep it

blue> yellow>and now white
I own a school and I am presently getting my buses painted white, as and when they come up for the F.C's. Internationally school buses are painted yellow and here we have people fooling around with their paint schemes.

That actually looks like a contract carriage -- several schools hire buses on contract (to save hassles of repair, employees, etc). This probably explains why the bus is not painted yellow. The contractors frequently use the vehicles for other uses also, and probably, this particular vehicle had some other "trip" scheduled.

I'm not sure how true this is. But I just heard that the bus driver committed suicide at the railway tracks.

Oh ! That is a sad note to end on a already depressing day for the kiddies ,school and the driver. Maybe he must have done out of guilt or due to the post accident torture anticipation. Feel sorry for the family.

There was a school van that toppled in chennai on monday as well. 15 kids were injured, thank god , no fatalities. It seems that the driver was drunk & could not control his vehicle when he saw a truck in the opposite direction. Feels scary.
