Pretty interesting thread, had a real good time going through the posts shared by BHPians. Would like to share my bit too.

Came across the following sign board by BRO on NH-58 on way to Badrinath. Very thoughtful message indeed.

Came across this road sign while driving on NH-94 (Rishikesh-Yamunotri Highway) in Uttrakhand. Couldn't exactly comprehend what does it denotes. Can anyone help decipher this.

Is it "Drive carefully otherwise you will fall in river" ?

That seems to be appropriate, even I thought the same but during the trip when I stopped to check around, there was no river or any water body around. Even a couple of kilometres ahead, there was nothing around which could justify this road sign. This is getting mysterious.

This warning sign indicates that this road leads on to quay or river bank. Drivers should take care and drive cautiously.

Thats pretty much appropriate but the only issue was that there was no river or waterbody around or over a couple of kilometres ahead. Maybe the sign board has been wrongly put up at the very place.

Somebody should tell him that's not the correct swastika, going by the other word on his boot.
