@rk: That just goes on to prove as long as you keep sharing the spoils with The One above you keep getting good deals. lolz. Imagine a truck, haryana police, place like gurgaon and you still feel good after all of it..lolz.

I think its just that I was lucky that with all these odds I came out safe and happy.. True that in Gurgaon handling post accident event is more painful than actual accident.

Good for you,rk. Glad that the damage wasn't too bad.
As for giving the needy something to eat.. that's a noble deed!
Way to go!

Wow! That dry denting really did wonders eh?

Glad to know nothing major happened, even though a truck was involved.

Cheers.

Thats pretty impressive, I must say ! And for that price and the time taken overall, its too good. Wish such skilled workmanship is available in all parts of our country.

Nice to know that end result was satisfactory here :-)

A couple of years back, one of my friends got hit by a truck causing damage to car body. It was after 9pm and the truck simply went ahead without stopping. My friend (a lady) ended up paying for the damage :-(

I guess I will not like to be that kind, for people like these, who just go into the roads and keep banging people. And then they blame you as why were you waiting for red light to turn green and all those excuses. A simple sorry or honest apology most of times solves these situation, if you do that .

Couple of times I saved vehicle from hitting, may be my mistakes, but a simple apology dissolved the issue every time.

But this time I was standing at crossing. so none of my mistake, on top of that I saw no apology in the conversation I had with driver.

BTW If would have gone to TASC, damages could have been anywhere near +3000 Rs. And owner of the Truck, who came later, accepted that.

All in all a good day. Could've been much much much worse. My mom's m800 door was totalled once by a bus.

Plus no matter what people say, Indica is built solidly -takes these bumps well

PS: Post that denter's details here. Delhi tbhpians will surely be there - delhi traffic anyways has hazaar such near nicks n shaves all the time

Yeah most of the times an apology works but at times these guys are totally at fault and then they have the cheek to not only disown any blame but start blaming you for all the wrong reasons. Yeah I agree, no need to return the balance amount but still when ever you do see your car curse him all over again..pstt I heard that curses work better than blessings.
@diabolo : its all in your greed ..on how much to share. I know that HE is not greedy. hehe so share as much as you comfortably can..i mean without being angry with yourself once the noble deed has been done, that is.

This shows how the showroom guys fleece us. A job that could have been done in less than 500 bucks is quoted 2.5K

I never go to showrooms for these minor denting work, i discover a good artist and take my car for all minor and sundry jobs and go to showrooms only for items that can be claimed by insurance.
