Oops! Quite right.
After travelling on four/six laned highways from Gurgaon to Hubli for three days, I refused to believe that this winding-curving two laned road was actually NH-63 . It was a pleasant ride though for most of the part!

Hi,
have done some 600km+ drives in a single day. Once with just a fuel stop.

Bangalore->Goa
Bangalore->Murudeshwar

500km+ drives
Bangalore -> Kodaikanal
Delhi -> Manali

But, nobody matches hvkumar (or Dr. Kumar as he is known on indiahighways group) :-)

Regards,
Ritesh

Leh - Manali (475 kms) in a single day (15-16 hours of driving) with a single fuel stop in between. Vehicle - Wagon R LXi (bone stock).

PS: That was Stage-7 of the 8th Maruti Suzuki Raid de Himalaya 2006. :-)

Delhi-Shimla-Chandigarh (just a cup of tea at the mall in Shimla in between) in Sept 2005.

I have done Bangalore-Shimoga-Honnavar- Murudeshwar- Kundapur(destination) with 3 stops in my Alto.

Don't ask me why I did this route when the Mangalore route was pretty good then.

Cant remember the distance covered though .
Somebody please do the honors of posting the distance.

13 hrs without breaking journey at a healthy average of 55. Good.

Any particular reason for non-stop drive or U want to test yourself

In the US:
14 hours - Tampa, FL to Gatlinburg, TN (in the Smoky Mountains). Should have taken 11 hours, but we got lost in the mountains!! ~700 miles = ~1130 kms
12 hours - Gatlinburg, TN to Tampa, FL ~dist same as above

In India:
8 hours - Vizag to Bhubaneshwar, ~450 km (pre-GQ days)
6 hours - Delhi to Rishikesh, 230 km
