Default RdKarthik and Karan Shah crashed up???

Heard from a reliable source last night that t-bhp members rdkarthik (Karthik of Race Dynamics) and ksmotorsports (Karan Shah) met with an accident while testing a car which was being prepared for the Speed Run. They are believed to have some major injuries. Can anyone share more details on the mishap and some details on the car involved? Was anyone else injured as well?

I hope the injuries are minor and they will be alright soon. Wish them both a speedy recovery.

Mods: If there is another thread already, please merge the two.

Hey! Thats really bad and santhosh, i presume it happened in Mumbai. If so, anyone from Mumbai might add something on this. Very unfortunate though and hope they are doing fine and recovering.

Oh man! I hope the injuries are not major, and they recover quickly and completely. I'd met Karthik @ RAC and was very impressed with his passion for his work.

I have heard that the car has been totaled. It was a Mitsubishi Evo & they rammed into a stationary truck.

From what I hear, it was a pretty nasty crash between the red EVO and an Army truck (?) at Ballard Estate. Karan got away with minimal injuries, but RD (I believe) suffered head injuries and was checked in at the Bombay Hospital. Hope he gets out soon.

Guys,
It was a minor accident that happened at 30kmph speed. Car has only cosmetic damages and is mechanically ok. Karthik was taken by me to the hospital for a chk up where he was found to have a hairline fracture in his left hand. Apart from that both had minor head bruises. The car will be at the speed run.
