About 15 years back, many of the accidents, esp on the highways, one would hear of involved an 800 or Zen going under a truck or bus, due to the low bonnet of the cars and high clearance with no guards on the trucks. Hearing such an incident after a long time.

May the poor guy's soul RIP.

Earlier, a Ford Ikon had also broken into two at marine drive!?
Zen/Maruti is not to be blamed.
I feel sorry for the departed souls' family.

it didnt happen at 1230am but it happened at aroudn 8 pm or 9 pm and the car wasnt cut into two but was broken by the impact.. .

To my knowledge it happened at worli seaface another accident prone spot in the city. And guys mayB the marutis donot exactly match-up with the safety standards, but i have heard of newer cars like the city and corolla and many more cars involved in crashes and the drivers have died on the spot. It is not the car but the impact of the accident which causes death. May the driver's soul RIP.
