Default Street Shraddhanjalis

Here in Hyderabad, it is quite common to see a black flag tied atop an iron pole and plonked right in the middle of the road - a hardly recognizable photostat copy of the late leader/neta with an apology of a garland is tied along with the photo. They usually last for a day or two before being removed.

Apart from the pesky ricks, cyclists, RTC buses and jaywalkers - I also keep a watch on these makeshift memorials as I drive.
