Recently a huge speed breaker has been put up this location - certainly the speed guns are now out of business here!

What I have seen in Bangalore are interceptors which have them installed on the roof of the Jeep.

Thanks for the information, it's good to know that there are steps taken to regulate the traffic. Even if this initiative slows down few hundred people everyday Bangalore roads will be a safer

One day in a week you will find one of these parked at KEB junction of ORR between Hennur signal and the nagawara signal during off peak hours.

Basic MO is that they wait at the end of a fast curve/ hillock so that they can see you but not vice versa

If a vehicle moves past on a very high speed, how do they stop and penalise? Or the radar gun can track an incoming vehicle from a long distance? not sure how this works?

The mama's just stand in the middle of the road and flag you down. Its a different issue if some cars/bikes would be able to stop on time. But in their field, thats the risk they are willing to take.

They will have the radar reading your speed and the camera recording of your car with the number plates clearly visible and so on. So the evidence from their side is pretty clear and well documented. And once you are flagged down, better stop rather than invite more trouble.

I guess they vanish after 6pm, as they don't have night capability?
