Sam,

That was one hell of a roller coaster ride that dad & son went thru!

Good to know the way it finally turned out. Be grateful that it happened at where it did and that there were no more complications.

So, did you and your dad go out traveling together again?

And yes, congrats to you and TheOne on the engagement.

@Sam, that warrants a separate blog! On another note, I really admire how you have reproduced something that happened 13 years ago in such a detailed manner. More power to you, Sam!

Another nice Yetiblog and a real fast one ;-) .. Now we are waiting for the next Episode of Yetiblog.
BTW, I hope that poor Alfa Romeo guy's insurance Company pays him for the car. Wish we could know what had happened to him.

Sam, this was certainly fast paced. Really interesting read, thanks to your narration skills.

On a certain note, I'm guilty of having wished you and your dad went through a lil more (at the station), just so we could have a little more to the story ... Nah! I'm just kidding .

I'm surprised you actually received sympathy on this car crazy forum though ... C'mon Guys, they ruined a Alfa .

This one is short and sweet dear, really enjoyed it. Was caught up in some major evil stuff at work, so i was spared the F5'ing part, but your story really brought me back to life, there is more to living than all this kaam waam.

Thank you.

ps: do start writing, i assure you i will grab as much copies as i can. Am sure the feeling is shared by many.

Sam very well narrated though we egged you to write fast you ensured that the essence & detailing was not lost in your speed writing as I may say.

I complete a year (Holi 08 to Holi 09) of Yeti Blog reading; started during the 1st visit of Jenny to India.

Happy Holi to Jenny & You

Scheherazade's recipe and Sam's tadka....the food was awesome.

But feeding the sweet laddu by spoon over too many hours makes hungry man .

I am happy that i am not alone to force the yeti to write fast.

Default Shark brings smiles

For once the Lawyer is not the villain of the piece, nice to see a lawyer spread cheer around.

As always, I write straight into the Team-BHP text editor. I do not write, read, edit and paste. I believe it takes away the essence of a YetiBlog®.
.......
Love,
Sam
Just to keep us hounds off your back, I suggest you write the complete story in wordpad and then cut paste (without editing).....but then again .....it would not give the YetiBlog that 'Arabian Nights' feel.

Sam, You have wonderful recounting skills. Its surprising to hear that the insurance company never contacted you for the case. Did you manage to contact that lovely lady who helped you ?

Scheharzade is credited with the 'Arabian Nights'. She would stop the story at a crucial stage each night to stop her husband from killing her and marrying another woman.

Cheers,

Yet another of the great Yeti blogs!

Sam, you reminded me of a near-similar incident that had happened with my dad in our hometown. He absent-mindedly stepped into the main road when the signal had just turned green. An enthusiastic guy on a two-wheeler who had just whizzed from that signal couldn't brake on time and brushed past him, and fell down, leaving both of them injured. The traffic police had taken down my dad's phone number, though he didn't receive any call later.
