BTW, never keep anything near the handbrake. Be it a toolbox or a bottle of water!

Happened to me in Bangalore (Jayanagar) in 1995. I was coming on to the main road from one of the cross roads and the road caved in behind me just as the car crossed an underground drain.

Re: Sinking ROADs in NCR
Hello All! reporting two more places where the roads in NCR are sinking:
1. When traveling from Green Park Metro Station towards AIIMS just in front of Punjab Restaurant (which will be on your left), about 100 mts. before the u-turn. A fairly deep depression has developed and seems to be worsening.
2. When traveling from pragati maidan (craft museum left) towards pragati power station (direction), opposite gate no. 1 of pragati maidan, about 200 mts. before the railway underpass towards the right of the road, another depression has formed, which can catch you out.
