I have crossed the 170Kmph(speedo) mark on the NICE road, from kanakpura towards mysore road. About safety, Swift is quite steady at such high speeds. It definately depends on the road and your ride. U hardly feel the speed when the windows are rolled up.

200 Kmph on my way to Mumbai from Bangalore in a Skoda

The fastest is riding pillion on my friend's Fireblade on our way to Chennai from Bangalore. We touched 220 Kmph.

Is it stock with stock rubber and rims! If yes then i wonder how it can be steady at such speeds. The company rated top speed is 173 i think. Furthermore, ive sat in a swift going at 150 on the expressway (one of the best roads in india) and it got unsettled pretty easily.

Hmmm. Turbo Indica with K&N stock replacement filter but everything else stock, did a little more than 160kmph. I think it was around 162-163kmph. The stock Bridgestone tires won't allow us to take it any higher after this.

Surprising that you did 205. Mitsubishi India website claims max speed of just 180km/hr for Cedia.

DirtyHarry: that's fast all right. Need to consider changing your handle to FastHarry. We can't even say 'catch you later' to you, way things are.

Guys, DirtyHarry is renowned rally driver from a couple of years ago and regularly blew the competition into the fields while astride his various machines.
He's new to Team-BHP, so please make him feel at home.

Was that self-powered or was it onboard a Volvo truck ?!

Long straight roads, empty car and smooth tarmac definitely helped. The car struggles beyond 190 or so and takes a long time to increase in speed beyond that. I assume 180 is with the car fully loaded. I think even ACI recorded a 195km/hr top speed.

No Xehaust. Not with the stock tires. Have replaced them.

120 kph (speedo reading) with a pillion on my Bullet 500 (Citibike) a few days back on the ride to Pratapgad. Changed the pre-existing 4-plate clutch to Endurance 5-plate clutch and Std 500 retro exhaust. Pulls like a tank!

Default 320 KMPH in a AMG Mercedes

I live in Saudi Arabia, speed is a pass-time here! This is my personal best though. Here's a pic of me doing 320kmph in a friends Merc. The digital speedo stops at 120, i think its because of the chip that enables him to pass the limiter. It tricks the cars computers into believing hes only doing 120kmph.
