Question

Some out of topic Q,
Can anyone tell me if any mass production bike in india can reach 150 kmph,
past/present/future?
I am not talking about the CBU/imported bikes.

In stock form no. Even the RD in stock managed around 135-140kmph (true speed).

But, didn't we have some BMW or something like that once apon a time? Any comments on that.

BTW, you never told us why he mentioned that in the first place. What has that got to do with speedo caliberation?
he told me so because he was surprised i took the car up to that speed in 4th ...he was telling me he took the car up to 160 ..so i tell him that i took it to 170 in 4th ..that when he came up with those theories back compression...he said 170 should be done in 5th for the sake of the engine ..
what i argued was - if a gear can reach that speed without hitting the limiter then whats the problem? thats when he said back compression ke chance hote hai ..engine will suck back all the air because "speed zyaada hai aur gear chota hai "...

Don't forget to mention that these would be speedo indicated speeds. I'm sorry, but there is no way the latest P180's reach 130kmph or your Shogun reaching 155kmph. Unless it's off a cliff. The same goes for the karizma.

Default COMET 150kmph speedo

I was able to touch 150 kmph mark on my COMET recently this is speedo indicated, I have the sigma device but looks difficult to set on COMET, do any one have any advice on fixing sigma device on COMET.
On karizma, I was able to touch 118kmph on sigma, while the speedo was in the range of 128kmph.

i would believe it ...but the amount of speedo error we calculated ...next time i do a fast run in that car i am sure i'll hit 200ks (on the speedo)!!! ...
our calculated Speedo error was 20ks @175ks (on car speedo)...the error generally increases with speed..

so if you want to feel good about your top speed record ... dont calculate errors
