Adding another piece of humour to this: an apartment sales bloke recently asked me if I had spare Team-BHP stickers. When I inquired why he was that interested, his amusing reply was that people tend to be wary of 'Live to Drive' sticker cars in particular as they're driven erratically and other motorists won't dare overtake them.
Given the pre-conceived notion that some blokes have, Team-BHP may have to aggressively steer a road safety campaign

I really like the idea. It may be a good idea to form core teams, collaborate with City traffic police and pilot it in Bangalore - then depending on success
or failure, replicate to other cities. It will be a great effort and might be able to give a small dent in our chaotic roads!

Double whammy on old airport road between Helicopter division and yemalur signal. 2 BMTC buses have broken down. Slow moving traffic.

For those of you, who travel from ORR to Bannergatta Road(Hulimavu Begur Road), what are the best options to avoid Silk board junction? This is for my wife who has just started driving to her work place at ORR

To avoid Silk board juntion, she can get on the Hosur road via HSR-Bomannahalli route and then take a U-turn to take up one of the routes towards Begur-Hulimavu road. But during peak hours these diversions are also equally crowded

Not a rant, but a weather warning (heavy rain) for Bengaluru which is doing rounds on whatsapp

This morning Hebbal inbound to Mekhri Circle was terrible. I spent close to 45 minutes between Esteem Mall and Baptist Hospital, which is a record for me at least.

From what I could make out, the ORR towards Manyata (left from Hebbal) was waterlogged, and the tailbacks jammed up BOTH the city-bound flyover as well as the roundabout/intersection under Hebbal. Result was total mayhem!

Dreading more rain this evening.

Coming from the Hebbal flyover, the service road after the Veeranapalya junction to enter Manyatha Tech park was completely flooded this morning.

Hence all the vehicles were avoiding the service road and the main road was jammed! But I decided to venture into the water along with a goods auto and a bike, successfully crossed it and entered Manyatha avoiding the jam .

Traffic has worsened already.

Avoid the St John's Hospital service road towards Koramangala. It is blocked by a TNSRTC bus at the exit of service road.

Not sure of the reason, however extremely slow moving traffic from Kadubeesnahalli towards Bellandur on ORR.

Heavy rain forecast shared by BTP on FB page. Looks like all of South, Central & East Bangalore is going to be affected.

Roads that I thought I'd know
Today with water they flow
Distant memories of sunshine and warm breeze
Today with the cold I freeze
Rain rain go away
Don't come another day
Reminiscing old times in this formerly great city
It'll never come back and that's a great pity

Thank you swissknife.

I think either this very portal needs a "SOLUTION" or the one who designed it was having some sort of "SOLUTION" !!

This damn thing does not even work

Ironically, this is fate of Bangalore's traffic. Even the so called Suggestion/Solution feed seems to be all messed up
