Exactly that what i feel, one should testdrive the car in a way he intends to drive his own car.

When I bought my first car in 96, the sales dude at Sagar Auto asked me where I took driving lessons? I said "Mani Driving school". To which he said, "oh ... same car sir.... test drive beeda(not needed)"! It was a Maruti 800. I did not take a test drive, ended up buying the car. which served me well for many years. Haven't we come a long way from there.
