Do update us on the kada chakka tree as well(nothing to beat some yummy chakka thoran!). Amazing to see how the whole sequence of the seeding to harvesting goes on. An uncle of mine lives somewhere close to Kuttanad,and the description he'd give me always included the vast paddy fields.

That series for the paddy is over as it covers the entire sequence.

In our household, 'chakka thoran' is made from the regular jack fruit and not this. This is used mainly for 'curry' type dishes as well as 'mezhukku puratti'.

Will try to give updates.
