Nitpick Alert

@Victor’s signature: Your 1990 Amby has only 5 BHP? Is that the Ambassador or some two wheeler I never heard about? Or is that a 19th century horsecart you bought in 1990?

The 2006 Swift VXi is rated at >85 BHP (87?). You probably meant the diesel VDi.

The 800s I know about were either rated at 39.5 BHP or 37 BHP (or around 45 for the MPFi version)

+1 to that. I'd encountered a similar situation on 30 Dec '08 (heaviest fog of that winter in NCR) while driving on NH8. I was following a truck (nicknamed Sheroo) which was doing a decent speed of ~50 Km/hr with a large convoy of all sorts of vehicles behind me when suddenly the spare tire of Sheroo fell bang in the middle of the road. Thanks to GOD and my F1 instincts I was able to avoid it. Fortunately nothing untoward happened, but rather something real funny did. I pulled over a little ahead of Sheroo, as I was inclined to keep following it and wollah many of the remaining vehicles started pulling over in front of me.
