Google traffic safety campaign - Hyderabad
While coming to the office today, I saw a few folks in white T-shirts trying to spread traffic safety across key signals of Hyderabad (Saw them at LV Prasad signal, Jublee Checkpost, Madhapur police station etc). They had placards like 'Better to be Mr. Late than Late Mr.', 'We call reckless drivers Organ donors' and later realized from their T-shirts that they were from Google. They were trying to distribute traffic safety stickers to the ones stopped at the signals, but unfortunately most of the drivers were rolling up their windows (they probably thought these were another of those collecting for charity).
But Kudos to the folks at google for coming up with this campaing and a round of applause them, especially considering the temperature outside!

That's pretty common in Hyderabad. However, hearing about Google doing it is a first.
This type of activity was first started by Sum Total systems who initiated a free the left campaign and still do it regularly.
Deloittee is according to me the biggest contributor towards traffic congestion ease campaign.
Today morning, there were a bunch of folks from Deloittee wearing blue tees holding placards and managing the traffic
