Default Freak Accidents- 3 cars gutted....!

A careless mistake or a freak Accident...! no one knows.....

While the blame game continues, let me tell you what happened.

This is the workshop where i usually get all my bodywork done,, Till yesterday, the workshop worked as normally as any day. But today, the same time.. Things take a nasty turn..............!

Lucky me... I had left only 1 car for tinkering, and lucky me again, during the incident, the tinker had presence of mind to push the car out in open. And the car lives another day to see its bright future.

1 Santro with LPG fitting sparked the whole carnation, and the fire spread rapidly to the Fiat Uno standing next to it, A Maruti Van standing on the other side of the Santro is completely burnt and since it was without documents the owner sold it off the scrapyard almost instantly fearing police intervention.

While the other Van next to the Uno got little bit of burns, and is drive able.

I was to transport the Bug fiat today at this workshop for starting the paint job, and i am third time lucky.

So for another 15 days this shop is SHUT, till further investigations continue.

Fire , Petrol car with a LPG fitting is a Lethal combination for such nasty incidents.

So guys, before doing some DIY with your cars, kindly BEWARE.

On the contrary, this was done by a workshop. More power to DIYers . Atleast we don't have LPG Santros and Unos standing next to our cars.

I kid, I kid.

I notice that the van is also gas converted, see there is some kind of gas filling point just before the rear tyre. If that van got starting burn then ........

this looks more than a freak accident!! i give all my hopes to the owners to claim quick insurance without any hassles.

playing the blame game here sounds looney actually for this kind of disastrous outcome.

Yes Hari.

Its the same, and the car that caught fire was parked at the same place where your Safari was parked few months ago

Since Naveed only owns the second half of this workshop, mostly used for Tinkering and painting, not his headache, he's continuing his work from day after, But the mechanics who had been running (rather carelessly running) are done for ever i guess.

Sad part is,i heard the Santro insurance seems to have expired.

Fiat Uno is owned by a lawyer, who's out of town and not communicable.

The M-Van belongs to a taxi driver and his problem is only cosmetic.

I was scared of my car's there. 3 days ago, i got out the Freshly painted Herald, and at the time of FIRE, i was supposed to have parked the Bug Fiat.

Holy Cow.....! i cant thank my stars for saving me from this catastrophe.

Hi Pavan, (Pic 2) Do I see a limo Beetle in the background. Like the famous london fire & the rebuilding after that. These guys can take a lesson from & start new leaf with atleast basic precautions in place.

Raab Rakha to these guys.
