Ok. Let me just take all of it at once!
I AM VERY SORRY!
Please read my signature. It was some very bad days which went past since last week. And it lasted more than that great 48hours full of delight.

Now, all the excitement is dead. Everybody is probably swearing me from their best of vocabulary. Some even cancelling their trips due to my absence. Huh! Who thought in the rarest of dreams about all this going to happen so bad?

Oh my god! This was supposed to be yet another great motoring nirvana thread which included some nice driving of some good cars and SUVs. It was indeed a pleasure to go on writing about it and I was completely having some mindblowing motOrgazzms while typing in this experience. And all of a sudden after I reach Trivandrum, everything just fell off from their places and things wouldn't just fall back easily as I hoped it to.

And after some days of running around couple a hospitals and losing my phone etc... I just couldn't live without some BHP in my blood. If this thread was aimed at 96 hours rather than just that glorious 48 hours, then it would've gladly be called a Saga and would've been the next EKTA KAPOOR venture!
My GPRS enabled phone had to be kept with an office staff due to some urgent business enquiries which I had no time to attend to. Hence, the reason for getting that strange responses!

Here I am, back again on that same phone typing in some of my apologetic words (hope I spelt it correct). I just couldn't do it earlier.

So, may I restart this thread? My SORRY accepted? guys?
Or do I need to force it down more with big STONE HAMMER?

Get ready! The world is a great beautiful place to be in.
So is life. Always has some pleasant and sometimes unpleasant surprises in store.
Let me sign in here once more and please! Ladies and gentlemen, Fasten your seatbelts! The journey is sure going to be exciting and I will add some saga to the experience too. Don't forget to carry those extra boxes of tissues too. LOL!

I called up and shouted 'Rolls Royce in trivandrum'
And from the other end a very confused voice.
I repeat again on top of my voice.
And a reply who is this.
I said Sujai, crazy, team-bhp and whatall that came to my mind.
Then i asked zak, you there and all such questions.
And the phone goes 'beep beep beep'.

Thank you! I hope you only were on the other side.

We should be using the HAMMER!
So, guess you'll be compensating for all that, right?

Thumbs up 48 Hours.................. Continued. (Part V)

Ok guys!
Last night's sleep was anyway spoiled with some useless posts somewhere else on the forum. And here I am logged into imageshack and seeing all those images once I had uploaded patiently from my phone.

Day: Sunday, 22 June 2007.
Location: Casino Hotel, Trissur.
Time: 2:45pm. (2:45 Hours)

So, the mighty S had left me high and dry! I was standing there with another key which was at the moment not at all attractive to me. It seemed like I am not going to drive the thing.

I took some time looking at the car from outside. Hmmm.... not bad. Good aftermarket alloys (which the owner says were bought from the dealer itself.) The car was brand new. Only some weeks old. The headlights were still covered with some dirt from the rainy roads. I made a sudden assumption that this car is mostly driven by the owner itself. Because I could see signs of some hard driving. I ask the driver about the same and he says, "do you think we will drive like this? We will be kicked out from the job there and then!" I smile and press the unlock button.

Trud... Thuds! Some sign it was that the doors are open. After some hours of an S experience, this Laura was making loud sounds while unlocking itself. A pure contradiction from the S where it is very hard to hear any sound while it unlocks. See, I should've sat in the other car!!.

I sink myself in the driving seat. Nothing extravagant! No bells and whistles. But supportive enough and good to sit in. It was time I closed the doors and move on before the S reaches it's destination. I stretch out my thin long hands and grab the door and throws it towards me. It reaches the body with a confidence inspiring THUD. But I was a bit light this time and the door hasn't closed properly. I wait! Huh????? Again!! I am in the wrong car boss! The door won't automatically shut for you. Yet another Aaaahh.. comes out from me.

I switch on the engine. Hmmmm.... noisy diesel. I was finding negative points in everything related to this car. I kept on reminding myself that your car is not the S or not even a Merc, so just shut up that over excited mind and enjoy this beauty for now. But again, it kept on going ga ga ga ga ga!
When compared to other cars in it's class (Is there any other diesel in it's class?), the Skoda engine was quiet good sounding and didn't enter the cabin much.

I plonk the gear into the sports mode and let go of the brakes slowly. Slowly we move as I tap my right foot slowly on the accelerator pedal. The steering is well balanced too. Not too much servoed or less. With some good meaty feeling to it. Yes, this was my second stint in a Laura. The custom leather interiors (Imported from Italy or some european country by the owner, I am told) is just good looking and nice to feel too. I wait and move slowly towards the road. I am feeling very tight inside. There is very less width per seat and I can actually touch the sides by moving my feet a bit here and there. Yes, I just couldn't stop it.

I look at the skies. It is also on the verge of crying, like me. That means I have to be careful and sports mode is not going to be used well. I set for the normal D option which can be kicked down or flicked to as needed. And earlier I had read from GTO's experience where he wasn't much happy with sports mode. I start driving in a more leisure manner than I was expecting myself to be. I carry on looking for negative things in the car. And before I realise, driver says we are lost. Oh my god! Everything is going wrong after I changed cars.

Now, I didn't know what to do. I didn't want to stop and ask directions due to a heavy downpour outside. Did a quick thinking and dialed MaxBhp on my phone. Something which I have to thank Team-Bhp for. it has brought me friends from every part of the world and can be troubled anytime without hesitating. Kudos to our forum!
I am given the directions and I press down the accelerator because we have to do a catch up job with the S. I have lost about 10 mins by now and there is no way I am going to catch up with the S in this heavy traffic. But I am wrong! S is just ahead of us. I can see it some 3-4 cars ahead of me. Later, I find out that they also got lost. LOL!

I know I am sounding a bit too technical and my wordings have become a bit boring by now. Sorry if that 3 weeks old excitement is not as eyecandy as before. I am trying to get it back slowly.

No, I am not stopping! Continuing.....................
