Citroen 2CV in Pune - Team-BHP

When heading towards Law Collage Road from Mhatre Bridge I came across this car. Light blue colour, looked like recently restored.
But it had the softest suspension I have seen, car was doing about 50kmph & went over a small bump & it was bouncing for next 5 to 10 seconds

As I was on two wheeler could not get photo.
Here is a picture of it thanks to Google Image Search

PS: It had Pune passing.

There's a blue and white one in Bangalore too. Most people call it "that Beetle car"! Hangs out somewhere in Jayanagar/JP Nagar.

nice picture indeed .but the car looked red ..whats the car in the background ? is that the one you saw? the red one looks nicely done(kinda ) hope i get to see it too .....

I personally like 2CV's in light two tone colours, although the one Edmund posted looks damn funny trying to look like Darth Vader!!!

Incidentally the 2 CV is one of the legendary cars James Bond has driven in one of his movies.

hey...

there are 2 2cvs as far as i know in pune...one blue and one orange...did u know there were plans to make this here ages back? later marutis planned entry spoiled the party...

dug up pics of the blue one taken a few years back at a pune lonavala rally...has since been re-registered to pune i think...
