the design feels like a rip off every modern supercar, oh well atleast its Indian . Now the most important thing is , can it go around a corner like a 35 lakh car!

A few years ago DC had shown designs of a supercar based on, but vaguely, but you could still see a family line, on an Amby. And that was a very original and IMHO a very successful rendering. About this one, I am not at all sure.
And then there is the problem of finish. The creations of the past were full of body solder (car patch) which had a tendency to drop of at the slightest ding. Lets see if this will pick up, and how the finishing will be.
Still an excellent effort for an indigenous design.
Only my opinion.

Cheers harit

I think the 'Tarzan' car looked better than the Avanti. But I must say the design is very complicated. There would have been a lot of effort gone into designing it. IMO, DC could have kept it simple yet stylish. Now to see how the car performs on the streets. The Ford EcoBoost is one helluva performer! If he keeps an even weight distribution and an overall less kerb weight, then this might be called a 'sportscar'.

Note from Mod : GTO's report on the DC Avanti has been uploaded at this link. Please continue the discussion over on the new thread

Not the worst looking DC creation! Infact, a half decent effort at a 'supercar'. There are a few independent supercar makers who have come up with worse. The detailing is a bit fussy. The nose seems to be inspired by the beak of a duck and the rear looks..well, like a squished frog, as someone said. But it does look good from certain angles. More importantly, we would all like to know how it drives...
